Just in time for winter cruising plans, Camper & Nicholsons Marinas is luring megayachts to the Caribbean with a deal that also includes one of its Mediterranean marinas. Specifically, it has a one-price package for berths at Port Louis Marina in Grenada (left) and Grand Harbour Marina in Malta.
The two-berth package is for megayachts from 98 to 328 feet (30 to 100 meters). Each marina has several advantages. Grand Harbour Marina, for example, overlooks the capital city of Valletta, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The famed Casino di Venezia (a casino, as the name suggests) is walking distance from the docks, as are restaurants and bars. Customs and immigration can be cleared on site, and many ports in the Med are within a three-day cruise. Guests can also fly into and out of the international airport just three miles away. As for Port Louis Marina in Grenada, its position outside the traditional hurricane belt and proximity to the Grenadines and other southern-Caribbean islands makes it attractive. Similar to Grand Harbour Marina, as well as many marinas, plenty of shops and dining options are a stroll from the docks. The marina is also five miles from the international airport. Highlights of the island include an underwater sculpture park, rum-distillery tours, and especially spice shopping in the capital of St. George’s.
Camper & Nicholsons Marinas’ special rates for the Malta and Grenada berths are based on various LOAs. They are as follows (given in meters, plus VAT and stamp duty exclusive):
